cheekily embarrassing
too flashy or too drab
like chunky platforms
and matching white pants
for office wear retro samplers

toting steno pads as well as
faux alligator shoulder bags
hitting the racks drastically
on sale ready-to-wear wide wales

not half bad gabardine bucket hats
understood as “pure” panache
by cartoon characters
serving as strapless mannequins
in pairs of sheer-fabric cigarette pants
caught in the crosshairs
while smacking of maladapted
bandwagoning brands all up for grabs...
