It’s worth remembering rousing speeches
and snarky digs offscreen
pulling and twisting jiggly dishes
in the kitchen while singing rousing jingles
and tinkering reel-to-reel into a frothy vigor
feeding cascading screens
swallowed up by several feet
of “nutshell” crime scenes
used to mint money laundering
for rough-and-tumble “whodunnits”
uplifting us from deep holes in the budgets
being deemed “Golden Enough”
post all-of-a-sudden undercuts
via lavish fictional productions...
