Mom Suzán
To keep a leash
on inquiries
into a big freeze
whipping up the seas
flooding subways
crumbling infrastructures
uncovering obstruction
of justice over months
and months having begun
and ended with Tweets
tall hurdles looming
rushing releases
racism misogyny
working hard at nursing
but only at half voice
playing with language
and sculpture lips pursed
eyes becoming blurred
by uncertainties
from blown-up emojis
stepping closer and closer
moreover to panels of styrofoam
smudged from crushing results
never to be discussed, “Shush Up!”...
